Russian Red is a strong producer of large, colorful bulbs; which makes it a great choice for market gardeners and small-mid scale commercial plantings. Customers are drawn to the purple and white bulbs and large, easy to peel cloves. The Rocambole-like flavor keeps them coming back for more. A good all around garlic in the kitchen, from salads to the sauté pan or veggie roaster this variety will provide great flavor, with a medium-hot heat.

Garlic orders begin shipping in October and continue until supplies run out in November. Orders are shipped in the order they are received but if you need your order shipped early, please reach out for accommodation.
We do not ship our garlic until October, as many diseases and pathogens need time to fully present themselves. Garlic shipped too early may deteriorate before planting season, shipping later in the season allows for any underlying problems to present
