Purple Fiesta PVP (also known as Purple Pelisse) is a mid-season specialty potato with deep purple skin and dark purple flesh. These plants set a large number of smooth, small, fingerling-shaped tubers ideal for boiling or baking whole. Chips made from retain their bright purple color and resist fading. Customer's love the high content of antioxidant and anthocyanins from dark purple flesh and these are my favorite to roast alongside a colorful array of carrots, beets, parsnips, and garlic for a beautiful, satisfying winter dish.
Resistant to Common Scab, Powdery Scab, and PVR
Susceptible to Late Blights and PLRV
10-12 tubers per pound of seed.
