Certified Organic Oregon Blue Seed Garlic (Artichoke variety) -
Original source unknown, yet this variety has been floating around the Northwest for generations. I first saw this garlic in a braid with dried flowers at a farmers' market in North Idaho. It was so striking with its blue streaked wrappers that I never forgot it. 2026 is our 3rd year with this variety and we've really fallen in love with it. We hope to increase our planting year by year, but for now it is available only limited quantities.
A vigorous plant with deep green leaves. Bulb wrappers usually show a light blue/purple tint. Good storage. GORGEOUS braids.
