Certified Organic Inchelium Red Seed Garlic (Artichoke variety) -
This beautiful artichoke (softneck) garlic originates in Inchelium, WA which is just across the Columbia River from us. Known for jumbo sized bulbs of medium to large sized outer cloves, and an inner "heart" of small cloves. This garlic is gorgeous in garlic braids, its silvery wrappers and streaks of red and purple are striking and worthy of any kitchen display.
Consider this variety if you don't experience very cold winters, although it will perform well in cold climates as well. Inchelium Red will sometimes produce a scape in climates with cold winters.
