Seed potatoes must be ordered separately from garlic and shallots.

Seed potatoes begin shipping in March.

You will get approximately 4-8 potatoes per pound of seed. Medium and large potatoes can be cut into chunks with 2-3 eyes per piece. Small potatoes can be planted whole.

1 pound of seed will generally plant 8-10 feet of row space; planting 1 piece every 8-12" (closer spacing will yield smaller potatoes).

Due to Idaho restrictions on seed potatoes, we cannot ship seed potatoes into Idaho.

We do our best to help you sort through the basics on our blog post here:  www.mountainvalleygarlic.com/post/seed-potato-varieties-by-climate-choose-the-best-for-your-region
