Certified Organic Chesnok Red Seed Garlic (Standard Purple Stripe variety) -
Also known as Shvelisi, Chesnok Red holds the standard as a top producing Standard Purple Stripe hardneck garlic. Great flavor, large bulbs, and our longest storing hardneck variety. Chesnok Red is outstanding as a cooking garlic, especially valued for roasting where it retains its shape. We find it's a great all-purpose garlic and a favorite to eat raw (we like it dipped in peanut butter). Chesnok Red is one of our most adaptable varieties and should grow well in Northern and Southern states.

Garlic orders begin shipping in October and continue until supplies run out in November. Orders are shipped in the order they are received but if you need your order shipped early, please reach out for accommodation.
We do not ship our garlic until October, as many diseases and pathogens need time to fully present themselves. Garlic shipped too early may deteriorate before planting season, shipping later in the season allows for any underlying problems to present
