Certified Organic Carpathian Seed Garlic (Rocambole variety) -
Carpathian is our favorite Rocambole, and maybe our favorite garlic. This hardneck garlic has a balanced and rich flavor that is delicious cooked or raw. Good heat that mellows with cooking. Large, easy to peel cloves with very few double cloves. Higher disease resistance and easier to grow when compared to other Rocamboles. Carpathian gained popularity when Cook's Illustrated magazine's America's Test Kitchen named it among their favorite cultivars.

Garlic orders begin shipping in October and continue until supplies run out in November. Orders are shipped in the order they are received but if you need your order shipped early, please reach out for accommodation.
We do not ship our garlic until October, as many diseases and pathogens need time to fully present themselves. Garlic shipped too early may deteriorate before planting season, shipping later in the season allows for any underlying problems to present
