Purple Glazer is a standout hardneck seed garlic from the Glazed Purple Stripe family, prized by home gardeners for its reliability, beauty, and gourmet flavor. Very cold hardy but also adaptable enough that it can be vernalized in the fridge and grown in most regions of the US. From AK to FL, Purple Glazer seems to thrive. Purple Glazer's dainty wrappers make it prone to splitting, so keep a close eye on this one as harvest time nears.

Garlic orders begin shipping in October and continue until supplies run out in November. Orders are shipped in the order they are received but if you need your order shipped early, please reach out for accommodation.
We do not ship our garlic until October, as many diseases and pathogens need time to fully present themselves. Garlic shipped too early may deteriorate before planting season, shipping later in the season allows for any underlying problems to present
