Yukon Gem seed potatoes - This improved Yukon has smooth yellow skin and buttery, gold flesh. 
One of my favorite potatoes, if I was going to grow only 2 potato varieties it would be Yukon Gem and German Butterball.  These store well for our family, into Spring if kept in a cellar and several months if kept in a cool, dark closet in the house.
 
Yukon Gem produces about 10 days later than Yukon Gold but pays you back in heavier yields.  A modern take on Yukon Gold but with improved resistance to scab, blight and PVY and higher yields.   Early-mid season, high yields, and moderate storage.  3-6 potatoes per pound of seed
